Dorothy Mary Hodgkin OM, FRS (12 May 1910 – 29 July 1994), née Crowfoot, was a British chemist, credited with the development of Protein crystallography.

It is 100 years since the birth of the only British woman ever to have won a Nobel Prize for science, Dorothy Crowfoot Hodgkin. She is credited with discovering the three dimensional structures of penicillin, vitamin B12 and insulin.
